Is the Order a Rabbit? watch order
Cocoa moves to a half-timbered European-style town for high school and lodges at Rabbit House, a café run by the quiet Chino and her fluffy rabbit Tippy. A café-and-friends comedy from Koi's four-panel manga: three TV seasons, two longer episodes, and a film on the way.
First time? Watch Season 1, Season 2, Dear My Sister, Sing for You, then BLOOM. That's release order, and nothing is skippable.
Release order
Everything in the order it came out, which is also story order. The two OVAs sit between Season 2 and BLOOM in the manga too.
- Is the Order a Rabbit?
Cocoa arrives in town and settles in at Rabbit House with Chino and Rize, and meets Chiya and Sharo, who work at the town's other cafés. Starts in spring.
- Is the Order a Rabbit??
Autumn to winter: Cocoa's older sister Mocha visits, there's a camping trip and Christmas, and the season ends with a treasure hunt through the town. Adapts up to the fourth manga volume.
- Is the Order a Rabbit?? Dear My Sister
A 60-minute episode shown in cinemas: the summer after Season 2, Cocoa goes home to her family's bakery for a week while the others wait for the fireworks festival. A direct continuation, not a recap.
- Is the Order a Rabbit?? Sing for You
A 25-minute OVA: Chino is picked to sing a solo at her school's recital and the others help her with her stage fright, with a flashback to her late mother. Adapts a chapter between Dear My Sister and BLOOM.
- Is the Order a Rabbit? BLOOM
Late summer to New Year: Halloween, the culture festival and Christmas, as Chino, Maya and Megu finish middle school and choose their high schools. Adapts volumes 5–7, skipping the chapters the two OVAs already covered.
Explained
Why do the titles have different numbers of question marks?
Each season adds one: Is the Order a Rabbit? is Season 1, Is the Order a Rabbit?? is Season 2 (and the two OVAs that follow it), and BLOOM is Season 3. Streaming services sometimes just call them Season 1, 2 and 3.
Do I need Dear My Sister and Sing for You?
They're not required, but don't treat them as filler: both adapt manga chapters between Season 2 and BLOOM, and BLOOM skips those chapters because they were already animated. Sing for You in particular covers Chino's family background that BLOOM leans on. Dear My Sister was shown in cinemas but is really a 60-minute episode.
Is there an English dub?
No. Every entry is subtitled only. The TV seasons are on HIDIVE from Sentai; the two OVAs haven't had a Western release, so they can be hard to find legally outside Japan.
Is there a Season 4?
Not a season, but a film: Is the Order a Rabbit? The Movie: We Are Family!, announced in 2025 with the original cast and director returning, by a new studio, Bibury. No release date had been set as of October 2026. Each TV season was made by a different studio too, with the same director and cast throughout.
