First time? Watch Season 1 (27 episodes), then Season 2 Part 1 and Part 2. The one-minute Mini Sakusen shorts are an optional extra.
Story order
Story order is release order. The mini shorts are gags with no place in the plot; they're listed after Season 1 because that's what they riff on.

Explained
Is Season 2 two seasons?
No. It's one two-cour season with a three-month gap in the middle (April–June 2026, then October 2026 onward). AniList and MyAnimeList list the two parts separately; Hulu and Disney+ number them as one season, continuing from Season 1's episode 27.
Is it related to Spy x Family?
No, despite the similar premise. Mission: Yozakura Family is a different Weekly Shonen Jump series by Hitsuji Gondaira, which ran from 2019 to January 2025 and finished at 29 volumes.
Will the anime reach the ending?
Not yet. The manga is complete, but Season 2 Part 2 starts around volume 16 of 29, so even a full cour will stop well short of the finale. Nothing beyond Season 2 had been announced as of October 2026.
Do I need the Mini Sakusen shorts?
No. They're one-minute chibi jokes made for YouTube and the Japanese Blu-rays, with no English release. Skip them unless you're a completionist.
Where can I watch it in English?
Hulu in the United States, with an English dub for both seasons, and Disney+ in many other countries (Canada, the UK, Australia and more). It isn't on Crunchyroll, and the Netflix listing is Japan-only.
