Story order
Story order is the same as release order: each season picks up from the one before, Kingdom follows Legend Star, and Tabi no Hajimari leads into ST☆RISH Tours.
- Uta no Prince-sama: Maji LOVE 1000% (Season 1)
Haruka's year at Saotome Academy, where she works with the six boys who go on to form ST☆RISH. A romantic comedy adapted from the original otome game.
- Uta no Prince-sama: Maji LOVE 2000% (Season 2)
ST☆RISH debut at Shining Agency, Cecil joins as the seventh member, and the senior unit QUARTET NIGHT appears as their mentors. They compete for the Uta☆Pri Award against the rival group HE★VENS, with the losers forced to disband.
- Uta no Prince-sama: Maji LOVE 2000% – Shining Star Xmas (optional)
An unaired bonus episode from volume 7 of the 2000% Blu-ray/DVD release: ST☆RISH prepare for the agency's Christmas party while Haruka is busy. Set after 2000%; an optional extra.
- Uta no Prince-sama: Maji LOVE Revolutions (Season 3)
ST☆RISH split into new teams and compete for a slot at the Triple S (SSS), an international music event, while Haruka writes for QUARTET NIGHT. HE★VENS return as a seven-member group at the end.
- Uta no Prince-sama: Maji LOVE Legend Star (Season 4)
ST☆RISH, QUARTET NIGHT and HE★VENS battle in a concert for the right to open the Triple S. The last TV season so far.
- Uta no Prince-sama: Maji LOVE Kingdom
A feature-length animated concert with all three groups, set after Legend Star. Almost no plot: it's a live show for fans who know the characters.
- Uta no Prince-sama: Maji LOVE ST☆RISH Tours – Tabi no Hajimari
A 47-minute TV special that bridges the two films: after Kingdom, ST☆RISH are unsure what comes next until the Shining office calls them in with a reward. It sets up ST☆RISH Tours, so watch it first.
- Uta no Prince-sama: Maji LOVE ST☆RISH Tours
A travel-themed concert film starring only ST☆RISH, with songs and dances inspired by different countries. Follows on from Tabi no Hajimari.
- Uta no Prince-sama: TABOO NIGHT XXXX
A phantom-thief-themed concert film starring only QUARTET NIGHT (Reiji, Ranmaru, Ai and Camus). A stand-alone show, best watched after the series so you know the four.

Explained
Do I need to watch the TV series before the movies?
Yes. All three films are animated concerts with very little story, and they assume you already know the groups. Kingdom features ST☆RISH, QUARTET NIGHT and HE★VENS, so watch it after Legend Star; Tours is ST☆RISH only, and TABOO NIGHT XXXX is QUARTET NIGHT only.
Who are ST☆RISH, QUARTET NIGHT and HE★VENS?
ST☆RISH is the main group, formed by the boys Haruka meets in Season 1 plus Cecil, who joins in 2000%. QUARTET NIGHT is the senior unit that mentors them from 2000% on. HE★VENS is the rival group from a competing agency, introduced in 2000% and expanded to seven members by the end of Revolutions.
Is Uta no Prince-sama dubbed in English?
No. Sentai Filmworks released the TV seasons and the first two films with Japanese audio and English subtitles only. No English dub of any entry has been announced.
Is anything new coming?
No new series or film had been announced as of October 2026. For the 15th anniversary in 2026 the four TV seasons are streaming free on YouTube until November 30, encore screenings of the three films were announced, and new ST☆RISH concerts are set for January 2027.
